The Michael Mann Archives offers an unprecedented exploration of the creative process within Mann’s films. Access pass holders will be immersed in the experience of filmmaking via a curated collection of Mann’s directing materials and live direction captured in videos and transcriptions.
It includes videos of rehearsals, storytelling strategies determining film form, annotated script pages, director instructions, transcriptions and more provide deep insights into Mann’s approach.
The project’s first offering centers around Mann’s latest film “Ferrari”.

Michael Mann chose six scenes from “Ferrari” to explore via his directorial materials. When you enter a scene, you’ll have the opportunity to watch the scene from the film, view a series of videos exploring specific dimensions of the filmmaking, and browse a collection of Michael Mann’s directorial materials - all associated with that specific scene.
